Today was a momentous day. After a week of poopy mishaps, I will refrain from telling you some of the other stories, we went and picked out big boy underpants and a big boy potty. Harrison was on top of the moon!! He picked out some 'Cars' brand underpants with Lightening McQueen on them. As we were picking out the big boy potty, he quickly engaged the sweet and gracious lady with her 2 girls about his big boy underpants. She kept telling him what a big boy he was and she totally feigned interest in his underpants!! He was sooooo proud!! So we got home and took out the potty just to have it around so we can talk about it and point to it as we read our books. That wasn't good enough. H-man stripped down and put his little bottom on the seat and for the next 10 minutes would pee, stand up, look at what he'd done and be totally thrilled with himself!! He finally told us he was all done so we went to dump the pee in the mama/daddy toilet and then flush. He did it all by himself, flushing and everything. Once again, he was totally proud with crazy parents cheering him on. I bet he thinks he can do anything!!!
Haddie got some great new shoes for her birthday, which she totally loves!! She will go and get them and want us to put them on her!! This shoes have little squeeks in them so parents can hear where their kids are. For me, totally annoying but they are removable!!! She is very close to walking....we just can't wait for her!!
