sicko kiddos

Here are the kiddos gearing up to hit the outdoors while mama takes a much needed jog/walk. They have been soooo sick this week and you can still see it in their little faces!! The current diagnosis is Bronchitis. The sounds of my children coughing and sneezing etc is quite that of a symphony but in surround sound!! Harrison had chest x-rays done to make sure he hadn't got pneumonia...he doesn't but a nasty virus is living in those lungs!! He was a real trooper as this machine made crazy noises as it hoovered above him. When the lights came on with the "x that marks the spot", well lets just say that really spooked him! He didn't cry one time and the technicians were FABULOUS!!!! I got to hold him most of the time and he got his favorite M&M's as a treat for being soooo great!! Let's hope this little virus is done running it's course in the Rutland household!!
Pappy and Nana are on their way (or should be there by now) to Morocco. We have gotten to talk several times as we miss them terribly around here. The call yesterday was so great but I started crying once we hung up. I just miss them!! Harrison was so sweet to me as he patted my head, smoothed my cheek and gave me precious little boy kisses to make me feel better! He is gonna be sensitive, just like his daddy!! {grin}
Last night, he got to go to see "Uncle Brad's" new fire truck. The station in Georgetown got a brand new truck and it is a sweet ride!! It is one big sucker as they are still learning how to drive and maneuver around corners etc. Harrison was all over it and got to play inside and out. Haddie got to drive for a bit and put on the earphones. Promise to get the pictures from Brad soon and post them!
