As I was finishing up my Bible study this week in Daniel, Beth Moore left some sweet reminders of God's promises about prayer. It might help if you read Psalm 31:19,
"how great is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you, which you bestow in the sight of men on those who take refuge in you."
"I believe with all my heart that God has great things "stored up" for those of us who esteem Him and take refuge in Him. I'm not talking about trivial things like earthly riches. I'm talking about things that matter-like a life of purpose, tremendous fruit, deep satisfaction, godly influence, open doors for ministry, restoration of relationships, and astonishing breakthroughs. Are these things dependent upon prayer? Often the answer is "yes!" They are stored up by God but released by prayer. In the process, an incredible thing takes place. It's called a relationship. Why would God care to have relationship with frail flesh and blood like us? Maybe our last insight from Daniel 9:23 will answer that question for us: 'You are highly esteemed'. The King James Version says, 'thou art greatly beloved.' The Hebrew 'describes something or someone desired or counted precious.'"
WE ARE PRECIOUS TO HIM!!!!! He waits to hear from us everyday. A million other voices cannot drown out our own. wow. My God is good!!!

It is such a pleasure to have a daughter-in-law who is so caring about her family. Living in Virginia and seeing these blog photos of the Austin Tx race - both the one Chris ran and the one that Jill runs daily with two beautiful grandchildren makes grandparents very thankful for such a daughter-in-law. We love you and Huge Hugs to all. VaRuts
