Updates galore

What a week we have had!! Last weekend we traveled to Dallas to celebrate my dad's 60th Birthday!! We had a nice relaxing weekend and the kids got to enjoy their grandparents before they (Pappy and Nana) left on a 3 week journey to India and Morocco. They are doing some missions work with orphanages etc over there. We already miss them terribly!!
My grandma....Grandma Great to H and Haddie....was put into the hospital Monday morning just as my parents were leaving the country. Jake and I have tried to be a lifeline to my parents regarding her condition. That's hard to do with a 10 hour time difference!! Good news is that Grandma is doing much better and in a specialized nursing facility to help get her back up to speed.
One of my dear friends had her baby 7 and a half weeks early! I got to spend time with her in the hospital on Tuesday while she was still recouping from her crazy ordeal!! Good news again, baby Jeremy is doing great (so is his mommy) and will get to come home soon than we thought!!
Finally, our friend Clay lost his mom to cancer this week. We went to her funeral yesterday. It was such a delight as she wanted people praising God, signing hymns and sweet songs like Jesus loves me. It was a very worshipful time. She didn't want anyone to be sad because she was with her Jesus.
