Crazy wasted space!!

We have successfully removed the UGLY yellow laminate counter tops in giddy anticipation of the granite being installed tomorrow! I was absolutly appalled at how much wasted space we have....like literally, alot!!! Not sure what to do about the space next to the dishwasher but I do have an idea for the one next to the sink. Doors on the back side of the bar area. We'll see if my sweat husband is up for that one! BTW: can i just say how darn sexy it is to be married to a real handy man?!! I am fo real! I love that he can destroy something with one hand and then rebuild something gorgeous with the other....I AM LOVIN' MY HUSBAND!!
