Someone licked a little too much icing off the knife!
Adding sprinkles.
A last look at the cast!
So today we said goodbye to the sorry piece of plaster that is known as a cast. No more garbage bags at shower time!! No more keeping it dry!! It was a wee bit tramatic, I must say. The sound of the saw was enough to send anyone into hypertension not to mention the fact that a saw was cutting on his arm!! His poor little eyes looked at me when the saw started and just kept yelling at me to "squeeze my ears closed!!" After the cast came off, his poor little scrawny arm was super tender and sensitive. That is not condusive to someone grabbing it, poking it and trying to stretch it out for x-rays. But Harrison was a trooper and we had a celebration dinner in honor of the cast being removed. H-man got to pick what we had for dinner....hot dogs on the grill, green chips (sour cream and onion) and cupcakes. NASTY, I repeat NASTY, but would do anything for my little guy! He is still favoring his right arm and keeping his left arm pretty close and protective to his body. The doctor said this is normal and gave us some "exercises" to do to get it back up to par. Did I mention the smell that hit us when the cast came off????!!!
