Literally, for the last month we have been going no stop, hard core playing with family! We spent a week in Celina on the farm with Pappy, Nana, Uncle Jake, Aunt Tres, Luke, Laci and soon to be baby Aubrey Claire. (i'm calling her brey but a.c. is growing on me!!) While we were there, actually before we even left for the farm, we discovered BOTH bathrooms had leaks in them. So what are we to do? Totally gut one and redo it! Yep....we are done with "demo" mode but have a tub in place. That's about it. It's absolutly ridiculous to have the 4 of us using the 1/2 bath but we like to look at it as an adventure! Good thing my handman comes cheap! (will post some before/after photos later)
We just got back in town for Colorado.....the weather was absolutly amazing! Our weather man said last night that we have had over 40 days of over 100 degrees! In Colorado, we would wake up to cool brisk mornings and we would make our kids play outside because we couldn't get this at home! Most mornings the kids liked to jump on the trampoline with their cousins. ( i wonder what we should get them for Christmas??!!!) We hardly ever saw our kids as they played HARD all day with Abby, Megan, Ediyah, Chris, Steven and Eli!!! It was such a joy to watch them interact and just love on each other.....they all played so well together! I just loved meeting Ediyah and Eli (the newest adopted addition to the Rutland clan). They are so precious and have learned so much in the few months they have been here! The highlight of the trip was getting to celebrate Abby's 11th birthday!!
