Aloha!

First day on the beach was a little cloudy but that didn't stop us!

Haddie's hair was super curly cute while in Maui with all the humidity! And yes, she did eat the sand. We had proof the next day.

We think she was the one running up the phone bill!

Big Jake and Laci at one of our favorite breakfast spots....the Gazebo. A little hole in the wall joint with pancakes to die for!

Watching the whales before breakfast

Pappy and his 2 girls who just loved being together!

Nana and her shadow

Harrison really wanted his picture taken with this guy....not sure who he is or why!

Every morning H and Chris would get up to get us our coke/coffee for the day. This waterfall was on our property and simply gorgeous. H wasn't in the mood for a photo-op!

The view from our 9th floor balcony! The island across the way is Lanai.

Wishing he was on the beach or at the pool. That's where we were the whole week!

The view from the left side of our balcony

The view looking down from our balcony!

The view in front of the hotel. Mountains on one side, pacific on the other!

Ok, Pappy and Nana totally lost it one night and took all 4 grandkids out by themselves! Yep, they were totally out numbered but rocked it! The kids did super great and Pappy and Nana are still alive! What troopers! This is Nana and Harrison and Laci (she is at the head of the table.)

I think this picture was taken before Haddie got sea sick all over me! Poor thing! We went out whale watching (which was superb!!) Laci got it too but at least Haddie fell asleep for the rest of the trip!

Luke-man just wanted some juice while my 2 boys were posin' for pics!

Luke and Haddie reading to each other. By the end of the trip, all the cousins were huggin' and kissin' and passing around whatever ailment they had!

Our room had 3 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms so the kids had tons of room to run around. Plus brushing your teeth alone is never fun......

A very hard earned family picture that I don't think will make it into Christmas cards this year!

Soakin' up the last bit of rays before we headed back to VERY COLD weather. Not good for the system or my tan!

Luke-man was out cold in the car and this is Jake with Paige and Laci......her hair is so long. My favorite line of the week was when we asked Harrison what he wanted to be when he grew up, he said, "I don't know but Laci will be a princess." Described to a T!!!!

What an amazing week. We are all sad to be back and the kids keep telling me that "I want to go to Maui." Everyone did great on the flights, with messed up sleep patterns and just living with 4 other people!
The adults got to take turns going out at night with another couple so only only couple was left with the kids to put down. (does that sounds as confusing to you as it does me??!!) Also, pappy and nana took each kid on a date for lunch. Let me tell you, Harrison could not wait for his turn! He still is "saving" things to show his cousins. He told me today that he was collecting cups to show them. "They don't live here but when i see them I will show them." He LOVED cousin time! They all played really well together!
The kids will tell you their favorite part was when we went whale watching. Even poor Hadleigh who got sea sick. H called it "feeding the fish." We saw some amazing whale action and if you ever get the chance YOU MUST GO!! Not just to Maui but everything in Maui!!

The Last Supper at Cheeseburger in Paradise before boarding our flight for home

Haddie and Pappy catching last minute rays before leaving Maui.

So fun! Looks like Nana and Pappy were eating it up. How great that the cousins had so much time to love on each other. Can't wait to hear more about it. ;-)
